THE DAGWOODS STORY
We sliced our first Dagwoods sandwich back in 1989 at our flagship restaurant in Montreal. Our goal was, and still is, to offer a fresh alternative to fast food.
We bake our bread fresh every day, slice top-quality cold cuts right before our customers’ eyes, top our sandwiches with crispy fresh toppings, and of course, pour on our most delicious Dagwoods Special Sauce.
When you visit any of our locations, you’re always greeted with a friendly smile, and made to feel like you’re part of the family. That’s how we’ve grown to so many locations all over Montreal and in Kanata. It is with great pride that we are expanding to other cities in the provinces of Quebec and Ontario.

INVESTMENT
The total investment cost for a new Dagwoods franchise, turnkey, can range from $200,000 to $250,000. This includes the cost of equipment, signs, leasehold improvements, franchise fee and opening costs. A minimum of $80,000 in unencumbered capital are required to qualify for a small business loan. The franchise fee is $20,000, along with an ongoing weekly fee of 5% for royalties and 3% for advertising.
